Western Digital (WD) Introduces Net-capable TV Live HD Media Player
Western Digital's (Lake Forest, CA, www.wdc.com) new HD media player makes it easy for anyone to use their big screen TVs to display photos, Internet content from popular websites, and HD (high definition) videos stored on USB and network drives. The new WD TV Live HD media player supports full-HD 1080p video playback and a wide variety of file formats. It includes two USB ports for seamless media playback from multiple USB drives, Picture Transfer Protocol support to show photos and movies directly from a digital or video camera, and it has the ability to create custom slide shows, with zoom, pan and search. The WD TV Live Media Player has an MSRP of $149.99.
