Lenovo Introduces Powerful Mobile Workstation

 

Lenovo is marketing the ThinkPad W700, a 17-inch wide-screen mobile workstation that meets or exceeds the expectations of most graphic artists and photographers. The powerful new computer includes the industry’s first built-in digitizer and color calibrator as well as the new NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile graphics card. It also supports the yet to be released Intel mobile quadcore processor. Among its other features are optional dual hard drives with RAID configurations, up to 8GB of high speed DDR3 memory, a range of wireless connectivity options and excellent multimedia capabilities, including an optional Blu-ray DVD burner/player. The ThinkPad W700 mobile workstation, which starts at $2978, is available through Lenovo Business Partners and www.lenovo.com.
