The Last Word by Jamie Hayes
I met Lisa when she commissioned me to create portraits for her college graduation. I have photographed Lisa many times over the years. This image was part of her daughter, Olivia’s three- month session. I feel truly blessed to be able to document the most important events in their lives.
The image was made with a Kodak DCS 560 camera, Canon EF 35–350mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens (now discontinued), and Photogenic lights. The lighting consisted of a Photogenic DR750 strobe in a Larson 4x6-foot softbox (main light), a Photogenic DR750 strobe in a umbrella for fill and two Photogenic strobes bounced off the ceiling for separation, background and hair lights. The final exposure was 1/90 at f/9.
