Print Competition, Second Half Winners

WPPI’s members-only 8x10 print competition happens twice a year. Presented here are the first place winners of the second-half competition, which produced almost 1400 entries in 18 different categories. The 8x10 competition mimics the Awards of Excellence 16x20 print competition in that the categories are the same as in the prior year’s 16x20 competition, with the exception of the 16x20’s Premier category. From the combined first place winners of the first and second halves of 8x10 competition, Prints of the Year will be chosen in the four major categories: Wedding, Portrait, Photojournalism and Commercial. These winners are known as the WPPI International Prints of the Year and will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 11, at WPPI 2006 in Las Vegas.
