Sigma Corporation Prices New Weather-resistant Lenses


May 01, 2011 — Sigma Corporation of America (Ronkonkoma, NY, www.sigmaphoto.com) has announced the pricing for three lenses that incorporate the company’s new, weather-resistant design. The currently available Sigma APO 120–300mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM has a MSRP of $4700, while the APO Macro 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM and 12–24mm f/4.5–5.6 II DG HSM are expected to cost $1600 and $1400, respectively. All three lenses will be released in Nikon and Canon mounts first, followed by Sigma, Pentax and Sony mounts.
