April 01, 2011 — The iDC Photo Video Magic Slipper is a compact and versatile version of the original Strobe Slipper. Designed by Bruce Dorn, this new device, like the original Strobe Slipper, is a rugged anodized aluminum unit that is designed to work with flex-head style speedlites, including most models of Canon, Nikon, Metz, Vivitar and Sunpak. The expanded design of the Magic Slipper also accommodates the more powerful Quantum QFlash.

Like its larger sibling, the Magic Slipper provides the photographer with the ability to mount both a speedlite flash and PocketWizard radio trigger. The Magic Slipper can be used with a variety of softboxes to provide a soft portable light source.
If you are using the newer version PocketWizards, there are also the iDC PW Slipper and PW Link to accommodate the PocketWizard Flex line of radio products. And for those photographers who are using RadioPoppers TTL radio devices, there are the iDC RP Slipper and RP Link. Street prices start at $49.
