In Memoriam: Brian G. Koop
Brian G. Koop passed away on Feb. 12, 2004. His courageous and inspirational battle with cancer ended after five years at the age of 45. Brian was employed by Photo Control Corporation since 1984 in Sales and Customer Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman E. & Audrey D. Koop; and his nephew, Stevie Rodby. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sandra; their cherished son Kyle; his brothers and sisters, Steven (Debbie), Mike, Lynn (Scott) Rodby, Peter (Lori), and Mary (Mike) Swenson; parents-in-law, Don & Joan Yantes; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Patty) Yantes, Brent (Angie) Yantes; 17 nieces & nephews; two great nieces; aunts, uncles and many friends.
EventPix Becomes Exclusive Online Service For In Style Magazine’s “Bridal Party 2004”
In Style Magazine announced that Eventpix.com is the exclusive online service for the “Weddings Bridal Party 2004.” The In Style bridal party will be held on April 3 and 4, 2004, at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, CA. Eventpix and five selected professional photographers will take complimentary engagement photos of the guests. Polaroid Turns 57
On February 21, 1947, Dr. Edwin Land astonished the audience at a meeting of the Optical Society of America by taking a photograph of himself and, less than a minute later, pulling apart a fully-developed 8x10-inch print of his own image. This, of course, was the beginning of Polaroid Corporation, which, at PMA, introduced its all-new Two-Second Digital Prints Kiosk.
